The short answer
Plan an office container from the work it has to support: number of users, workstations, meetings, storage and comfort all year round. Then check access and placement on site. With this information an individual offer can confirm size, fit-out, transport scope, price and schedule in writing.
Users and workstations
Start with the number of regular users and how they work: desk work, short visits, meetings or a mix. A 6 × 3 m module has an external footprint of 18 m² and a 7 × 3 m module 21 m²; the usable interior is smaller because of the walls. If one module is not enough, several can be combined.
All-year comfort: insulation, heating, cooling
For daily use in winter and summer, insulation and climate control matter more than any finish. In our example configuration the walls are made of 100 mm PIR panels, and the floor is insulated with 100 mm PIR and covered with 18 mm OSB board and waterproof PVC flooring. An air conditioner of 3.5 kW for heating and cooling is available as an option.
Electrics, windows and doors
List the devices you will use and where you need sockets. The example configuration includes cabling, sockets, LED lighting and an external socket, two fixed windows of 1700 × 2000 mm and a glazed door of 1100 × 2000 mm. If staff need a toilet, the scope is agreed in the quote.
Site office or permanent extension?
A site office stands for the duration of the works; a permanent office extension becomes part of the premises. The permit route can differ: in Bavaria, for example, temporarily placed site facilities are listed among the projects that need no permit procedure (Art. 57 BayBO). Other federal states have their own rules, so check with the local authority before ordering.
Delivery and placement
A 3 m wide module exceeds the 2.55 m width limit for a vehicle with its load in Germany (§ 22 StVO) and travels as an oversize transport. Plan access for a truck with a crane and a prepared placement area; foundation and utility connections are organised locally unless the offer includes them.
Security and access
Site offices often hold plans, documents and devices. Mention locking, window protection and outdoor lighting in the brief; access and security options are part of the configuration and are confirmed in the offer.
When one module is not enough
For larger teams, combined modules can separate open work areas, a meeting room and a toilet. Tell us which rooms must be next to each other and where the entrance should be.

Keep the offer specific
Ask for layout, options, transport and unloading scope, price and schedule to be confirmed in writing before the order. Realisation starts from a minimum of 6 weeks after order confirmation. Typical uses and the example configuration are on our office container page.
Send your intended use, destination and key requirements for an individual quote.
